Manager Intern Guide
Last Updated: September 2024
Should an intern not use the full £15 solely for travel, the Company allows them to use the
remaining balance towards lunch. All travel and lunch receipts must be submitted via Spendesk
for finance to approve.
The Company is also aware that not all interns may need to use the £15 for travel due to their
location of residence. In these circumstances, interns can use this full amount for lunch
instead.
Sourcing & Interviewing
It is encouraged to diversify your pool of candidates by reaching out to a variety of universities
outside of your usual scope. This ensures we are tapping into all backgrounds, furthering our
commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture.
It is mandatory to ask the below questions to ensure all the required information is captured to
inform your final decision. Any concerns should be raised with HR prior to making an offer.
• Where are you based?
• Is there any intention in the near future, for you to move from where you currently reside?
o Note, you are not required to locate closer to the office for this internship.
• Do you or will you have a job in addition to this internship? If so, are there any
accommodations we need to make for this?
• Please note this work placement is unpaid. In light of this, you can expense up to £15
per day to support your travel costs to the office. Does this amount support your
commute? If not, what are your commuting costs?
• Again, as this internship comes with no remuneration, do you have the financial means
to support yourself during this internship?
• Do you have valid UK right to work?
• Is there any information you would like to disclose that would support you in undertaking
this internship i.e. any mental health conditions or disabilities?
